Custom Pre-Engineered Metal Shop in Beaufort, North Carolina
Metal Building Outlet sent the building kit for this custom steel shop to Beaufort, North Carolina, in December 2024.
Engineered to attach to an existing building already onsite, the new structure has an open end wall where it connects to the other building and creates another 748 square feet of space the owner can use to store items, complete work or tasks or otherwise use as desired. Designed for its coastal location and climate, the building has a high wind rating to maximize durability with regard for the gusty breezes and occasional hurricane activity that comes through the region. It also has a bright, inviting exterior thanks to Cool White paint and a matching trim package.
The metal shop’s rugged, 24-gauge standing-seam Galvalume roof resists corrosion, making it ideal for an often-wet coastal environment, and its sturdy steel construction keeps it standing strong in the face of harsh weather, fire and other common construction hazards. Low-maintenance and easy to erect, this metal shop building is an attractive and functional addition to the property that will serve the owner’s needs for years to come.
