Prefabricated Steel Building in Killdeer, North Dakota

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Killdeer, North Dakota in August, 2013.  Located less than an hour from Watford City and Dickinson.  This Nucor building was erected by the owner, his friends and family.

The exterior walls of this personal shop and storage are brick red and the 2:12 pitch roof is polar white.  The finished size of the building is 60’x120’x16’. In order to  accommodate the climate of Dunn County (wind and snow), this building is rated for wind speeds up to 90 MPH and 35 PSF ground snow levels.

Additionally this shop and storage building has an energy saving fiberglass insulation package.  The roof and walls are insulated with a single layer of 6” R-19 insulation. There are several entrances into the building  (3) 16’x14’ overhead doors and (3) 3’x7’ walk doors.
