Prefabricated Steel Stables and Riding Arena in Cimic, Illinois
Metal Building Outlet delivered the buildings kits for this prefabricated steel riding arena and horse stable to Cimic, Illinois, in September 2024.
Together, the steel equestrian buildings function as a safe, year-round place to board horses, ride and train them and host horse shows and similar special events. Comprised of rugged, fire-resistant steel parts, the buildings include a main, roof-only metal riding arena and an attached steel lean-to that operates as a stable and attaches to the main building along its left end wall.
Both buildings have striking Colonial Red roofs and trim, giving them a traditional “barn” aesthetic, and the main metal equestrian building also has 2’ overhangs along both side walls that create dry outdoor storage space. The lean-to also features overhangs on three sides, creating additional covered areas while providing protection from the elements.
The metal riding arena’s open-air design creates an open-air, well-ventilated environment, while the attached lean-to has designated areas for boarding horses and keeping them warm and safe from environmental hazards. Sturdy, low-maintenance and easy to erect, these metal equestrian buildings serve as safe, all-season places for equestrian enthusiasts to ride, show and board their animals, regardless of climate conditions outside.
