Steel Building in Queen Creek, Arizona
Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a customer in Queen Creek, Arizona, in early July of 2015.
Energy efficient and exceedingly durable, the metal building boasts light stone-colored paint and is crafted from premium-grade steel components. It stands 30’x40’x15.6’ in size, and its roof is made of rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 1:12 pitch. Inside the building, which is now used as a shop, are (11) framed openings, among them (2) 12’x12’ openings housing (2) 12’x12’ roll-coil doors, (8) skylights and (1) 3070 walk door designed for user access.
Installed within the roof is R-19 metal building insulation, while R-13 insulation was installed in the walls. In addition to reducing energy expenditures for the building considerably, the insulation helps muffle outside noise while improving overall interior comfort. A suburb of Phoenix and a part of central Arizona’s Maricopa and Pinal Counties, the town of Queen Creek lies about 16 miles outside Gilbert and 94 miles from Tucson.
