Metal Building in Ray, North Dakota

Metal Building Outlet supplied this large, prefabricated steel building for a buyer in Ray, North Dakota, in early June of 2012.

Light stone in color and topped with a Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch, the metal building stands 80’x120’x20’, and is now used as a shop and office space for L & D Pitt Stop. Constructed entirely from Nucor Building Systems components, the building features rock wall wainscot, 6” Guardian insulation was installed in both the roof and walls to help maintain consistent interior temperatures and low energy costs, and a total of (12) framed openings. These openings include (4) 16’x16’ Amarr Model 1000 garage doors, (1) 12’x12’ Amarr Model 1000 garage door, (5) 3’x7’ walk-doors for easy user access and an additional (2) 3’x4’ windows.

Ray is a small city of under 1,000 inhabitants, and is located within Williams County, in northwestern North Dakota. It lies about 95 miles outside the City of Minot and 35 miles from the City of Williston.
