Custom Red Iron Steel Shop Building in Crestview, Florida
Metal Building Outlet supplied this red iron steel shop building for a client in Crestview, Florida, in mid-August of 2024.
Engineered for its location in a high-risk hurricane zone, the steel shop building offers superior strength and durability and is open along both end walls, providing natural ventilation and easy access to the interior. Comprised of durable, economical red iron steel, the building offers both aesthetic appeal and impressive functionality, protecting everything stored inside from moisture and the Florida elements.
Because of the area’s windy conditions and seasonal hurricane activity, the building had wind columns along both side walls, enhancing durability in the face of strong gusts. The structure also features additional bracing and anchoring and a high wind speed rating to comply with local building codes.
In addition to supplying the building components, themselves, Metal Building Outlet also provided the assembly hardware for this project, sending the nuts, bolts and screws needed for construction to the build site along with the preassembled steel parts.
