Metal Building in Resaca, Georgia

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building for a buyer in Resaca, Georgia in August of 2014.

Constructed using Nucor Building Systems components, the 50’x150’16’ metal building is sagebrush tan in color, and now operates as a shop. Topped with a Galvalume roof and a 1:12 roof pitch, the building boasts (2) framed openings: (1) 18’x14’ overhead door and (1) 3070 walk door to ensure easy entry and access.

With the typical climate and considerable rainfall of Resaca in mind, the building was built with R-10 insulation in the roof and walls, as well as a wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 4.2 lbs.

Resaca, Georgia is located within Gordon County in Northwestern Georgia, although parts of Resaca extends into Whitfield County. The town lies about 57 miles from the City of Marietta and 84 miles outside the City of Gainesville.
