Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Ripon, California in January of 2022.

Heavily insulated and highly customized to meet the buyer’s needs, the building now functions as a shop and features premium-quality steel construction. When erect, the metal shop building is 60’x80’x18’, boasting high ceilings and an unobstructed clear span.

Overhead, the shop building has a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel gable roof with a 1:12 pitch, and (9) framed openings allow access inside. The building has (5) 14’x16’ openings enclosing (5) 14’x16’ Series 5000 roll-coil overhead doors, (2) 3070 openings enclosing (2) 3070 commercial insulated walk doors with lever locks, (1) 4070 opening and (1) additional 3070 opening without a door.

Also included is (1) 10’x12’ opening enclosing (1) Series 5000 roll-coil overhead door. Additional customizations include (1) 4’6”x4’ projection door canopy, (1) 7’6”x4’ projection canopy, (6) insulated light-transmitting panels in the shop’s roof and (3) 12’x10’ White ridge vents in the roof, which enhance ventilation throughout.

A high-performance insulation package is another key feature, with a high R-value, R-38 banded insulation system in the roof and an R-25 Energy Saver insulation system in the walls. The steel shop building also has a high, 130-mph wind speed rating in accordance with local building codes.
