Metal Shop Building in Rockton, Pennsylvania

Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered metal building for a client in Rockton, Pennsylvania, in early February of 2018.

Energy efficient and engineered to withstand high winds, heavy snow and other common hazards, the building boasts a finished size of 60’x100’x16’, and it now functions as a workshop. Crafted from top-quality steel components, the building contains (4) framed openings, which include (1) 3’4”x7’2” framed opening and (3) 12’x14’ openings. Overhead, a Galvalume metal roof with a 3:12 pitch protects against corrosion and the Pennsylvania elements.

A high-performance insulation package, which includes R-19 insulation in the shop’s roof and walls, allows building users to maintain comfort, regardless of time of year, and it also considerably lowers energy bills associated with the property. A 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 43-pound snow load serve as additional project elements that enhance durability with respect for the four distinct seasons experienced throughout Rockton and the surrounding region. An unincorporated area in central Pennsylvania’s Clearfield County, Rockton lies about six miles southeast of Dubois and about 22 miles northeast of Bigler.
