Comprised of hardwearing, sustainable steel parts, the insulated, structurally sound metal building now functions as a shop. When raised, it is 40’x60’x10’ and overhead, it features an ultra-durable Galvalume Plus gable roof.
The steel shop has a clear span design that eliminates the need for interior columns or supports and has (2) framed door openings with trim. An insulation package serves as another key feature, keeping building users comfortable and energy bills low throughout the year. In the roof is a 6” layer of fiberglass insulation, while the walls hold 4” insulation rolls.
The insulation has heavy-duty WMP-VRR Plus facing, which helps protect the blankets from condensation and damage. A 17.5-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional features added with respect for the building and engineering codes in place in Rocky Mount.
