Roof-Only Metal Building in Quincy, Illinois
Metal Building Outlet supplied this roof-only metal building in Quincy, Illinois, in June of 2022.
Used to provide overhead coverage, the metal carport is comprised of durable, sustainable steel parts and is 20’x20’x18’6.5”/20’2.5” once constructed. All building components arrived at the jobsite partially assembled to ensure ease of erection.
The structure’s rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof has a single-slope design and a 1:12 pitch, and there are also long-life fasteners with washers holding the steel components together. Gutters and downspouts also line the structure’s low side wall, preventing rainwater or snow from collecting atop the roof and causing condensation.
Engineered to meet all current building and engineering codes in place in Quincy, the roof-only steel building also boasts a 90-mph wind speed rating and a 20-psf roof snow load.
