Metal Building in Rowlett, Texas
Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this pre-engineered metal building in Rowlett, Texas, in early June of 2020.
Expansive, energy efficient and highly customized, the building stands 90’x180’x17’ and serves as an athletic arena. It has high overhead clearance that makes it suitable for its intended purpose, and overhead, a structurally sound and corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roof with a 2:12 pitch protects the interior of the arena from the elements.
In that roof is a layer of R-13 insulation, which helps the inside maintain consistent temperatures while lowering the building’s energy expenses. The metal arena also has (2) 4070 framed openings serving as access points, each enclosing one of (2) 4070 commercial walk doors.
Other notable project customizations include (116) 3’x5’4” continuous eave light panels and (14) 3’x10’8” skylights that allow natural sunlight to shine in from above. A 115-mph wind speed rating serves as another supplemental feature added in adherence to local building code requirements.
