Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Salisbury, North Carolina in October of 2013.

Built from components from Garco Building Systems, the steel building is now used as a shop by Powerhouse Recycling, Inc., a leading provider of certified electronics recycling and IT asset management services. Boasting a finished size of 55’x80’x22’ and covered with a Galvalume roof with a 2:12 roof pitch, the prefabricated steel building has (2) framed openings, (1) 10’x10’ and (1) 3’x7’.

With the region’s typical weather patterns in mind, the metal building was constructed with a wind speed of 90 mph and a snow load of 15 lbs.

Salisbury is located inland and within Rowan County, in central North Carolina. It lies about 52 miles outside Greensboro and 39 miles from Winston-Salem.
