Steel Building in Santa Rosa, California
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Santa Rosa, California in August of 2020.
Insulated, energy-efficient and highly customized in line with the owner’s needs, the White metal building has matching White trim and now functions as a garage, providing reliable protection for cars and trucks stored inside. When raised, the steel garage stands 18’2”x23’x8’2” and has an open, clear span design that eliminates interior supports, thereby maximizing usable floor space.
Overhead, the metal garage sports a rugged, corrosion-resistant Grey gable roof with a 4.85:12 pitch, and (8) framed door and window openings are additional building customizations. Distributed throughout the metal garage are (1) 8’x6’ overhead door opening, (1) 3’x6’8” walk door opening, (2) 5’x2’ window openings and (4) 4’x2’ window openings.
The steel garage also features an insulation package. In its roof are 520 square feet of 6”, R-19 insulation, while the walls of the metal garage contain 956 square feet of 4”, R-13 insulation with heavy-duty WMP-VRR facing. Other notable customizations include a 10” overhang along one end wall and a 36” overhang along the other. The building also features a wind speed rating of 110 mph and gutters and downspouts, which help prevent condensation by directing rainwater away from the garage’s roof and foundation.
