Constructed using premium components from Nucor Building Systems, the structure is now used as a shop by the owner. It is covered by a durable, long-lasting Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch. It features (2) framed openings, (1) of which is 14’x16’ and the other, 12’x12’ in size.
Sedalia and its surrounding areas experience a temperate climate characterized by seasonal thunderstorms and occasional tornado and ice storm activity. With the region’s typical weather and climate patterns in mind, the steel building was constructed with a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 20 lbs.
Located about 30 miles south of the Missouri River in central Missouri’s Pettis County, the City of Sedalia sits about 68 miles from Columbia and 61 miles outside Jefferson City.
