Steel Shop Building in Bailey, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building for a customer in Bailey, Colorado, in early January, 2016.
Constructed using heavy duty, premium-quality metal components, the building is now used as a shop and stands 40’x50’x18’ in size. Its roof is made from rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 1:12 pitch, and installed inside the roof is R-19 metal building insulation. The insulation considerably reduces energy costs for the building, and it also improves noise control inside.
Inside the steel structure are (4) framed openings, which include (2) 10’x10’ openings, (1) 3070 walk door for convenient user access and (1) 3030 window. Additional notable features include an 8’x8’ overhead opening in a partition wall with full-wrap trim, a 2’ overhang and a soffit roof panel. Due to its mountainous location this building is engineered with a wind speed of 110 mph and a high snow load of 75 lbs.
An unincorporated community in northeastern Park County in central Colorado, Bailey lies about 32 miles outside Deckers and about 23 miles from Jefferson.
