Metal Buildings in Gilbert, Arizona
Metal Building Outlet supplied these (2) premanufactured metal buildings in Gilbert, Arizona, in late October of 2017.
Insulated and energy efficient, making them ideal for life in Arizona’s desert climate, the buildings feature high-end steel construction, and they together create a workshop. The first steel building stands 50’x66’x18’ in size, while the second stands 24’x66’x16’ once fully erect. Covering both workshops are rugged, hardwearing Galvalume metal roofs that resist corrosion and have 1:12 pitches, and distributed between the (2) structures are (3) framed openings, among them (1) 14’x14’ opening, (1) 12’x10’ opening and (1) 45’x8’2” opening.
A high-performance insulation package reduces energy bills associated with the complex, which can spike considerably during Arizona’s often-sweltering summer months. Within their roofs, the buildings contain R-35 insulation, while R-25 insulation sits within the buildings’ walls. Both buildings also boast a 115-mph wind speed rating. Part of central Arizona’s Maricopa County, the town of Gilbert sits east of the city of Phoenix. The community lies about seven miles from Mesa and about 18 miles northwest of Scottsdale.
