Steel Shop Building Kit in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered steel building in Cheyenne, Wyoming, in January of 2020.

Engineered for use as a shop, the building offers optimal strength, durability and energy efficiency, making it well-suited for Wyoming’s sometimes-harsh climate. Constructed from rugged, high-end steel components, the shop stands 48’x60’x16’ when raised, offering high overhead clearance and a space-maximizing clear span that make it suitable for a wide range of uses.

In the roof and walls of the metal workshop are layers of R-19 fiberglass insulation, which help lower energy bills and, as a result, lifetime costs of ownership. The insulation also helps the building maintain comfortable interior temperatures year-round, making for a more comfortable work environment.

Other notable shop features include (1) 3’4”x7’2” walk door and several climate-related customizations, among them a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load. Wyoming’s most populated city, Cheyenne is part of southeastern Wyoming’s Laramie County. It sits about 77 miles from the city of Laramie and roughly 52 miles north of Greeley, Colorado.
