Shop Building Kit in Denver, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal shop building kit for a customer in Denver, Colorado, in July of 2015.

Boasting ash gray paint and designed with energy efficiency in mind, the building is crafted from top-quality steel components and now serves as a shop. It stands 55’x90’x16’ in size, and its roof is made of hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal and has a 1:12 pitch. Inside the structure are (6) framed openings varying in terms of size and function, among them (2) 12’x14’ openings, (3) 4030 windows and (1) 3070 walk door designed for user access.

This project also includes an insulation package. Installed in the building’s roof and walls is R-10 metal building insulation, which reduces energy bills associated with the structure while enhancing interior comfort and noise control. A wind speed of 115 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs. are additional features, and these inclusions were made with respect for Denver’s variable climate.

A part of Colorado’s Jefferson County, the city of Denver sits about 67 miles from Wiggins and 44 miles outside Byers.
