Steel Workshop Building in Silt, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet provided this pre-engineered metal building for a customer in Silt, Colorado, in November of 2017.
Rugged, attractive and engineered to stand strong in the face of the Colorado elements, the metal building boasts a Light Stone exterior and stands 40’x60’x14’ in size. Now used as a workshop, the building features top-quality steel construction, and overhead, a roof comprised of Galvalume metal panels provides premium protection while offering a 1:12 pitch.
The steel workshop also features several accommodations added with the Silt area’s mountainous landscape and variable climate in mind, and these include a wind speed rating of 115 mph and a snow load of 40 pounds. Additionally, distributed throughout the shop are (4) framed openings, among them (1) 12’x12’ opening, (1) 16’x12’ opening and (2) 3’4”x7’2” framed openings.
A small town located within western Colorado’s Garfield County, Silt sits along the north side of the Colorado River. It sits about seven miles east of Rifle and about 20 miles from Glenwood Springs, a popular resort community.
