Metal Building in Silver Springs, Nevada
Metal Building Outlet supplied this metal building in Silver Springs, Nevada, in late June of 2014.
Built using Nucor Building Systems components, the pre-engineered metal building is now used as a shop. Standing 45’x70’x22’ with a 1:12 roof pitch, the building features (2) framed openings, both of which are 14’x14’. Additionally, R-19 insulation was included in the roof at the time of construction, while R-13 insulation was added to the walls, enhancing energy efficiency and helping the building maintain consistent temperatures regardless of season.
In consideration of the climate of Western Nevada, the building was constructed with a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 20 lbs. Additionally, after-the-fact changes were made by the Metal Building Outlet team to lengthen the building from its original size of 40’x60’x22’, to make room for new concrete stamps.
