Metal Building Outlet delivered this prefabricated metal building to a customer in Socorro, New Mexico, in late June of 2022.
Energy-efficient and easy to erect, the metal building now serves as a shop and is 30’x40’x12’ once raised. It has an open, column-free interior thanks to a clear-span design, and overhead, it features a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof with a 3:12 pitch.
The insulated metal shop building has (2) framed door openings that provide access inside, which include (1) 3070 opening enclosing (1) 3070 steel walk door and (1) 10’x10’ overhead door opening enclosing (1) 10’x10’ Model 2402 overhead door with an opener. A 25-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind load are additional customizations made in adherence to local building code requirements.
