Metal Building in Southern Pines, North Carolina

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building for use as a woodworking shop in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The Nucor-brand metal building measured 50’x60’x18’ and had a roof pitch of 1:12. The shop was outfitted with two 10’x10’ framed openings and one 12’x14’ framed opening in addition to a 3’x7’ steel walkdoor and R-13 roof insulation. The roof insulation was recommended to reduce cooling costs and add to the overall functionality of the shop space. Specifically, the owner of the shop used the space to build wooden cabinets. Windows were later installed 11 feet from the floor to provide better lighting.

The fox gray-colored metal building with a galvalume-colored roof is located in Moore County, North Carolina in the town of Southern Pines which is approximately 26 miles from Burlington and 24 miles from Greensboro.
