Metal Building in Spruce Pine, North Carolina
Metal Building Outlet was the supplier of this pre-engineered metal building kit in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, in late June of 2019.
Combining robust durability with impressive energy efficiency, the long-lasting, multifunctional metal building stands 30’x40’x16’ in size and has high overhead clearance and a wide clear span, making it well-suited for any number of different uses. Its roof has a 1:12 pitch and is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume panels, and it also has (4) framed openings, which include (1) 3070 walk door opening, (1) 12’x14’ opening enclosing (1) 12’x14’ overhead door and (2) 4’x4’ windows that allow natural sunlight inside.
Keeping the steel shop comfortable and the energy bills associated with it low is an insulation package that includes a layer of R-13 insulation in the roof and R-10 insulation in its walls. The metal building also counts a 115-mph wind rating and a 20-pound snow load among its customizations; inclusions made in consideration of the climate of Spruce Pine and the building codes in place in the region.
Located in northwestern North Carolina, the small town of Spruce Pine is located in Mitchell County. The community sits about 40 miles southwest of Boone, North Carolina, and about 50 miles northeast of Asheville.
