Prefabricated Steel Aircraft Hangar in Leadore, Idaho
A client in Leadore, Idaho, needed a safe, secure place to house aircraft and protect it from the Idaho elements, and Metal Building Outlet stepped up, supplying this prefabricated steel plane hangar in September of 2024.
Designed for the area’s rugged climate and engineered to handle heavy snowfall, the metal hangar boasts high ceilings and offers 4,500 square feet of column-free interior space so it can easily fit aircraft with a variety of wingspans. Several large doors make it easy to move planes in and out, and gutters and downspouts along two walls ensure efficient drainage, preventing snow from accumulating on the rooftop.
Constructed from hardy steel panels for optimal strength and durability, the building provides reliable protection for the owner’s valuable aircraft, ensuring it stays safe and dry despite the region’s harsh conditions. While this metal hangar protects planes or helicopters from snow, wind and moisture, it also reduces maintenance needs and helps preserve their functionality and resale value, making it a smart investment on the owner’s part.
