Steel Barndominium in Dublin, Texas
A resident of Dublin, Texas, purchased this pre-engineered building through Metal Building Outlet in mid-June of 2023 to serve double-duty as a residence and a shop space.
Considered a “barndominium” because it combines a living area with another type of functional space, the versatile, attractive steel building has impressive curb appeal thanks to Ash Gray exterior walls and nicely complementing Charcoal trim. The metal barndominium has a wide clear span that eliminates interior obstructions and high ceilings that make it easy for the shop area of the building to accommodate cars, trucks or other large goods.
While Metal Building Outlet supplied the kit for the steel barndominium, itself, MBO also included a Texas-engineer-stamped foundation plan to streamline the process of pouring the foundation and help ensure a long life for the building. Metal Building Outlet also had the building engineered to meet the building codes in place in Dublin, which the buyer verified with the local building department well in advance of signing off on the building’s design.
