Prefabricated Steel Building in Apache Junction, Arizona
Metal Building Outlet secured this prefabricated steel building in Apache Junction, Arizona, in April of 2022.
Highly customized and ultra-energy-efficient, the building is comprised of rugged, sustainable steel parts and is 40’x90’x16’. A wide clear span makes it ideal for use as a shop, freeing up plenty of floor space by eliminating the need for interior columns, and a steel gable roof with a 3:12 pitch offers reliable protection overhead.
A 16” overhang with a soffit surrounds the building, enhancing curb appeal while protecting the building from animal intrusion and the elements. The shop also has (1) 12’x14’ overhead door large enough to allow vehicles and large equipment in and out.
An R-32 Energy Saver roof insulation system and an R-25 Energy Saver wall insulation system are additional metal building features. The roof and wall insulation will lower the shop’s energy bills, helping it stay warm in the winter and cool during Arizona’s long, hot summers. A 115-mph wind rating is another customization made in line with local building codes.
