Metal Building Outlet sourced this pre-engineered steel storage building in Fairplay, Colorado in February of 2021.
Now used for storage purposes, the metal building is 30’x40’x14’ in size and has high overhead clearance that creates additional storage space. It also has an attached 10’x40’ roof-only lean-to that provides even more covered space for storing goods.
Providing protection from overhead is a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof with a 5:12 pitch, and (6) framed door and window openings are additional customizations. Found throughout the metal storage building are (2) 10’x14’ overhead door openings, (3) 3’x4’ window openings and (1) 6070 walk door opening enclosing (1) 6070 insulated steel double door with a lever lock.
Fairplay and the surrounding mountain landscape see considerable wintertime snowfall and variable weather conditions, and this steel building has several features that comply with local building codes and enhance durability with respect for the climate. These features include a 110-mph wind speed rating and a high, 77-psf snow load.
