Prefabricated Steel Building in Hilo, Hawaii
Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Hilo, Hawaii in late February of 2021.
Now functioning as a shop, the ultra-durable, highly customized steel building is 80’x50’x18’ when raised and has high ceilings and a broad clear span. Overhead, a hardwearing Galvalume gable roof provides protection from Hilo’s considerable rainfall, and (3) framed door openings in several different sizes allow building users access inside.
Other upgrades and customizations include a 10’ eave extension along the front side wall, which creates additional covered space, and a 105-mph wind speed rating, which keeps the metal shop building compliant with local building codes.
