The roof of the building is comprised of heavy-duty Galvalume steel paneling and has a gable design and a 2:12 pitch, and it has additional load limits to accommodate heavy loads.
The metal shop has (17) framed door and window openings throughout. Included are (14) window openings in various sizes, (1) 14’x14’ opening enclosing (1) 14’x14’ heavy-duty insulated sectional garage door with a low track, a trolley and a remote, and (2) 10’x10’ framed openings housing (2) heavy-duty insulated garage doors with jack shifts.
A high R-value insulation package is another key feature, with R-30 insulation installed in the shop’s roof and R-25 insulation supplied for installation into the walls. The building also boasts a 2’9.5’x2’9.5’ exhaust fan along one side wall, improving ventilation.
An upgraded, 70-psf roof snow load and a high, 130-mph wind speed rating are additional enhancements made in adherence to local building codes.
