Metal Building Outlet secured this prefabricated steel building for a client in Monroe, North Carolina, in January of 2020.
Constructed from heavy-duty steel parts, the building boasts an attractive Charcoal Gray exterior and is 40’x60’x12’ in size once erect. Ideal for storage, manufacturing, automotive or any number of other uses, the building has a wide clear span that maximizes floor space, and it also has a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roof with a 1:12 pitch providing reliable protection from above.
Building users can access the interior of the workshop through one of (2) framed openings, which include (1) 16’x10’ framed opening and (1) 3’4”x7’2” walk door opening. Climate and weather-related customizations made in consideration of the building code requirements in place across Monroe include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 10-pound snow load.
Part of the Charlotte – Gastonia – Rock Hill, NC-SC metro area, the city of Monroe is located within Union County. It sits about 27 miles southeast of Charlotte and about 7 miles from Wingate University.
