Steel Building in Parker, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building in Parker, Colorado, in April of 2022.
Insulated, easy to raise and highly customized in line with the owner’s needs, the Charcoal-colored building with Burnished Slate trim now functions as a shop and is 30’x60’x16’ in size. High ceilings and an open, column-free interior make the most of available floor space, and overhead, a matching Burnished Slate roof with a modest 2:12 pitch provides reliable protection from the Colorado elements.
The steel shop building has (10) framed door and window openings throughout, among them (1) 12’x14’ overhead door opening, (1) 10’x10’ door opening, (2) 3070 framed openings for walk doors and (6) 4040 framed window openings. There are also (2) 36”x36” Charcoal-colored metal cupolas along the roof, enhancing the shop’s aesthetic appeal. The shop also boasts wainscoting along one end wall and one sidewall, further boosting the building’s curb appeal.
Other notable customizations include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 35-psf snow load, which keep the shop adherent to local building and engineering codes while enhancing its durability.
