Steel Building in Peyton, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet was the provider of this pre-engineered steel building in Peyton, Colorado, in March of 2017.
Energy efficient and exceedingly durable, the low-maintenance metal building is light stone in color, and it stands 50’x50’x16’ in size. Now used as a shop, the structure is covered and protected from above by a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch. Crafted from premium-quality steel components, the building contains (2) framed openings, which include (1) 12’x14’ opening enclosing (1) 12’x14’ sectional door and (1) 3070 opening intended for a walk door.
The shop building also features an effective insulation package. In its roof, the building boasts R-19 insulation, while R-13 insulation is installed within the walls. In addition to dramatically reducing energy bills, the insulation helps building users stay cool and comfortable throughout the year while minimizing outside noise. Additional project characteristics include a snow load of 40 lbs. and a wind speed rating of 100 mph, accommodations made in consideration of the climate and weather patterns commonly seen throughout Peyton and the surrounding landscape. A census-designated area in central Colorado’s El Paso County, Peyton is among a series of small towns and communities that are situated between Limon and Colorado Springs.
