Steel Building in Spring Creek, Nevada
Metal Building Outlet was the provider of this preconstructed steel building in Spring Creek, Nevada, in March of 2017.
Highly energy efficient and designed to stand strong against inclement weather thanks to a wind speed rating of 90 mph and a high snow load of 50 lbs., the light stone-colored building boasts a finished size of 40’x60’x17’. A corrosion-resistant, rustic red metal roof with a 3:12 pitch protects the structure, which now serves as a shop, from overhead, and inside, it features (4) framed openings varying in size. These include (2) 12’x14’ openings, (1) 8’x8’ opening and (1) 3’x7’ opening.
To keep energy bills low and improve interior comfort for building users given Spring Creek’s variable climate and its proximity to the Elko Hills and Ruby Mountains, the shop contains R-19 insulation within its roof and walls. A census-designated area set within northeastern Nevada’s Elko County, Spring Creek lies about six miles outside Elko and about eight miles outside Lamoille.
