Prefabricated Steel Buildings in Seneca, Kansas
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pair of prefabricated steel buildings in Seneca, Kansas in March of 2021.
Now functioning as shops, the buildings offer unmatched strength and durability thanks to top-quality steel construction. The first and larger of the metal shop buildings stands 60’x105’x18’ in size when erect, while the second, smaller steel building is 24’x80’x18’/14’.
Both buildings have broad clear spans that maximize usable floor space, and the first shop building’s roof has a gable roof with a 2:12 pitch, and the second structure, a single-slope roof with a 2:12 pitch. Between them, they feature (21) framed door and window openings in a variety of sizes.
Distributed between the (2) metal shop buildings are (4) 3070 openings enclosing (4) half-glass 3070 commercial insulated walk doors with lever locks, (1) 12’x12’ overhead door opening, (1) 14’x14’ overhead door opening and (1) 24’x16’ overhead door opening. Also included are (11) 3’x3’ framed window openings and (3) 5’x5’ window openings.
Additional upgrades include gutters and downspouts, which help prevent rain or snow from pooling atop the roof, and several climate-related customizations, among them a 115-mph wind load and a 14-psf roof snow load.
