Prefabricated Steel Kennel Building in Peyton, Colorado
Metal Building Outlet supplied this multipurpose steel building for a client in Peyton, Colorado.
Delivered to the owner’s business address in April 2023, the Fern Green building with a Polar White roof and trim is now part of a nonprofit dog rescue organization. Used to house the dogs the organization rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes, the building provides a safe, warm place for animals to live during all four seasons in Colorado.
MBO carefully customized the steel kennel to meet the buyer’s needs and included an insulation package to keep energy bills low and temperatures inside consistent. The roof contains R-19 fiberglass insulation blankets, while the walls hold R-13 insulation blankets.
MBO also fabricated the metal kennel to meet the region’s high wind and snow load requirements and included an engineer-stamped foundation plan with this building to streamline construction and ensure a strong, suitable foundation.
