Steel Loafing Shed Supplied in Golden, Colorado

When a resident of Golden, Colorado, wanted a durable, reliable steel building to use to house animals, he tasked Metal Building Outlet with designing and supplying it.

Metal Building Outlet delivered the pre-engineered building kit to the client’s address in November 2022, where it now serves as a “loafing shed,” or a small barn-like building used to house and protect livestock.

White in color with a Gray roof and trim, the building remains open along the high side and has a 2’ sheeted eyebrow that creates a dormer look along the roof. The steel animal storage building has high wind and snow loads in accordance with local building codes, which the buyer confirmed with his local building department before finalizing the building order.

MBO also included a stamped concrete pier foundation design along with the building kit to help streamline and simply erection.
