Insulated Steel Shop Building in Milford, Nebraska

When a client in Milford, Nebraska, wanted to customize a pre-engineered metal building for use as a shop, he turned to Metal Building Outlet, which delivered this building kit in March of 2023.

The insulated, energy-efficient shop draws the eye from the road thanks to a combination of Cool White exterior paint and bright Hawaiian Blue trim, and the gutters and downspouts distributed along the roof line are also Hawaiian Blue. The building has an open, column-free interior that maximizes available floorspace, and a high R-value insulation package guards against condensation while keeping the building comfortable for year-round use.

Lining the roof and walls of the shop is R-30 Energy Saver insulation, which leads to lower heating and cooling bills for the owner. The building also has a large 4’x3’ window that lets natural light inside, improving the ambiance inside.
