Prefab. Steel Shop for a Littleton, Colorado High School
Metal Building Outlet supplied this cold-formed steel storage building for the athletics department of Littleton, Colorado’s Columbine High School in June of 2021.
Erected next to the football field and used to house the school’s sports equipment, the steel building matches others on the grounds and has the same blue and silver color scheme as the Columbine Rebels’ team uniforms. Constructed from cold-formed steel parts, which are lighter and often more readily available than traditional, rigid-frame parts, the building offers unrivaled durability while giving the athletics department a safe, dry space to keep its sports equipment and gear when not in use.
Inside, the steel storage building has a wide clear span that maximizes space for storage by eliminating the need for interior supports. Engineered to meet local building code requirements, the prefabricated metal storage building is also light, bright and airy inside thanks to the addition of (4) 3’x4’ windows.
