Prefabricated Metal Shop in Sterling, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel shop building for a customer in Sterling, Colorado, in April of 2019.

Offering optimal durability, the building stands an expansive 60’x300’x20’ in size and is currently in use as a shop. Comprised of heavy-duty steel components, it offers the strength and ruggedness Colorado construction demands, standing strong in the face of heavy snow, freezing temperatures and other potential building hazards common to the area.

Overhead, a Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch provides solid protection from the elements, and (14) framed openings make the metal shop easily accessible for users. These include (3) 12’x12’ openings, (9) 3070 walk door openings and (3) 16’x16’ openings. A 30-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating serve as additional customizations added with regard for the climate of the area as well as the building code requirements governing construction at the address.

The most populated city in northeastern Colorado’s Logan County, Sterling sits about 128 miles north of Denver and about 113 miles outside Greeley.  Need help erecting a steel building? Click here for assistance finding a Colorado building contractor.
