Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel storage building in Elizabeth, Colorado, in early March of 2015.
Now used as a storage area, the metal building includes high-performance R-19 insulation in the roof and R-13 insulation in the walls to keep energy costs manageable and interior temperatures consistent regardless of time of year. The 50’x100’x16’ building is made from rugged Garco Building Systems components, and features (3) framed openings throughout. These include (2) that are 14’x14’ in size and (1) that is covered by a 3070 walk door.
Elizabeth typically sees substantial winter snowfall, and in consideration of the region’s characteristic climate patterns, a wind speed of 90 mph and a ground snow load of 30 lbs. were included at the time of construction.
Elizabeth is located within Colorado’s Elbert County. The town sits about 18 miles from Parker and 16 miles outside Castle Rock.
