Steel Storage Building in Quincy, Illinois

Metal Building Outlet secured this pre-engineered steel storage building on behalf of a customer in Quincy, Illinois, in November of 2019.

Now in use as a storage building, the structure stands 24’x28’x24’ in size, featuring high overhead clearance and a wide clear span that enhance its versatility. Delivering unparalleled protection for assets stored inside, the building features premium-quality steel construction, and its roof has a modest 2:12 pitch and is comprised of long-lasting, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel panels.

The steel storage building has a number of customizations that maintain compliance with appropriate building codes and better adapt it for life in the Midwest. Such specifications include a 90-mph wind speed rating and a 20-pound snow load. Nicknamed “The Gem City,” Quincy is part of Adams County and is situated along the Mississippi River. It sits just north of Marblehead, Illinois, and just east of West Quincy.
