Steel Building in Surprise, Arizona

Metal Building Outlet provided this prefabricated metal building in Surprise, Arizona, in mid-April of 2017.

Designed with energy efficiency in mind, the structure is comprised of premium-quality steel components. Now functioning as a shop, the building stands 40’x60’x16’ in size, and a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 1:12 pitch sits overhead. Additional shop building attributes include (4) framed openings, among them (2) 3070 openings and (2) 14’x14’ openings.

Helping reduce energy bills associated with the building is R-10 insulation in its roof and walls, which also helps with sound control while improving interior comfort for building users, regardless of outside temps. A wind speed rating of 115 mph serves as an additional project feature.

A rapidly growing city set within central Arizona’s Maricopa County, Surprise is the spring training home of the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers. It sits about 20 miles northwest of Phoenix and about 6.5 miles outside Sun City.
