Steel Building in Sweet Home, Oregon
Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel building in Sweet Home, Oregon, in late January of 2015.
Now used as a shop, the building is constructed from premium Nucor Building Systems components and stands 50’x60’x16’. Overhead a durable galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch was installed, and inside are (5) framed openings of varying sizes. Among them are (2) 12’x14’ openings, (1) 10’x10’ opening and (2) 3070 walk doors for easy user entry and access.
In consideration of the Sweet Home area’s typical climate, which is characterized by warm winters and cool, relatively dry summers, the metal shop building is engineered with a wind speed of 95 mph and a ground snow load of 30 lbs.
A city of about 9,000, Sweet Home is a part of northwestern Oregon’s Linn County and is known for its close proximity to lakes, rivers and the Cascade Mountains. The city sits about 51 miles outside Salem and 44 miles from Eugene.
