Roof-Only Metal Structure in Sylva, North Carolina
Metal Building Outlet sourced this preconstructed roof-only metal building for a customer located in Sylva, North Carolina, in early May of 2017.
Crafted from top-of-the-line steel components, this large, roof-only structure stands 80’x200’x17’ once completely erect. The roof itself is comprised of hardwearing, long-lasting Galvalume metal that resists corrosion and has a 1:12 roof pitch. A wind speed rating of 115 mph serves as an additional roof building feature, an accommodation included in consideration of the climate and weather characteristics of Sylva and the surrounding region.
Located in western North Carolina, Sylva is an incorporated town sometimes referred to as the “New Orleans of the Carolinas.” Set within central Jackson County, the town of Sylva is situated not far from the Eastern band of the Cherokee Indian Reservation. It sits roughly 36 miles outside Highlands and about four miles outside Webster.
