Offering superior structural integrity and energy efficiency, the durable, insulated metal buildings now function as shops. Comprised of reliable, high-end steel components, the first steel shop is 50’x44’x18’ in size, while the second stands 20’x44’x18’ in size.

Metal Building in Aurora, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet provided this prefabricated metal building for a customer in Aurora, Colorado.

Energy efficient and built to last, the building boasts a striking, Saddle Tan exterior and a finished size of 30’x60’x14’. Crafted using premium-quality steel materials, the building now functions as a workshop and features (7) framed openings varying in size throughout. These include (1) 3070 opening, (1) 8’x8’ opening, (2) 10’x12’ openings and (3) 4030 windows that allow natural sunlight inside.

Overhead, protecting the shop against the Colorado elements, is a rugged, hardwearing Galvalume Plus roof with a 1:12 pitch. Inside the metal roof is high-performing R-30 insulation, which minimizes energy bills associated with the workshop while improving sound control and year-round comfort for users.

To enhance durability given the seasonal climate variations and sometimes heavy snowfall seen throughout Aurora and much of the Denver metro area, a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load serve as additional shop attributes. Part of the Denver-Aurora-Lakewood Metropolitan Statistical Area, the city of Aurora has land in both Adams and Arapahoe counties. The city sits about 20 miles outside Denver and about 17 miles from Thornton.

Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this prefabricated metal building in Durango, Colorado, in late June of 2019.

Offering the extreme strength and durability life in the Colorado mountains demands, the building features rugged, reliable steel construction and stands 50’x60’x20’ in size. Currently undergoing use as a shop, it features high overhead clearance that improves versatility and an open, clear-span design that maximizes usable space by eliminating interior columns or supports.

The metal shop has an attractive, Ash Grey-colored exterior, and overhead, it boasts a heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch. The shop also has (4) framed openings varying in size throughout, among them (1) 2020 opening, (1) 12’x14’ opening and (2) 3070 walk door openings. Other customizations added out of respect for local building codes and climate characteristics include a 115-mph wind speed rating and a high, 65-pound snow load.

Located in southwestern Colorado, the city of Durango falls within the borders of La Plata County. The community sits roughly 45 miles east of Cortez and about 60 miles west of Pagosa Springs.

Offering the structural integrity Colorado construction demands, the building boasts unrivaled strength and durability, and it is now in operation as a shop. Comprised of the strongest-available steel components, the shop stands 40’x50’x18’ in size once erect, and it boasts a wide clear-span and the high clearance desired by many of today’s metal building buyers.

Overhead, a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant colored roof with a 1:12 pitch offers protection from the elements, and (18) framed openings make the workshop easily accessible for users. Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered steel workshop building for a customer in Sedalia, Colorado.

Combining rugged durability with optimal energy efficiency, the shop building stands 44’x60’x18’ in size and currently serves as a shop. It features an unobstructed, space-maximizing clear-span design and high ceilings that enhance functionality and usability, while its hardwearing, corrosion-resistant steel roof offers a 1:12 pitch.

In the steel shop’s roof is R-30 fiberglass insulation, while R-19 insulation sits within the building’s walls. In addition to making the workshop more comfortable and more suitable for year-round use in Colorado, the insulation keeps outside noise at bay and energy bills at a minimum. Additional workshop customizations include (13) framed openings ranging in size, among them (2) 8’x8’ openings, (1) 12’x12’ opening, (2) 3070 walk door openings equipped with (2) 3070 walk doors and (8) 4’x4’ windows that ensure plenty of natural sunlight inside.

Agricultural Buildings in Sedalia, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet provided these (4) prefabricated metal buildings for a buyer in Sedalia, Colorado, in July of 2015.

Designed with energy efficiency in mind, the (4) buildings together create a barn area. The first building stands 22’x50’x15’ and has a 2:12 roof pitch, while the second and third buildings are equal in size and stand 12’x50’x11’ with 1:12 roof pitches. The fourth and final building is 10’x50’x10.2’, and it, too, has a 1:12 roof pitch. All (4) buildings are crafted from top-quality steel components, and the roofs are all made of corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal.

Inside are a total of (7) framed openings, which include (2) 10’x10’ openings housing (2) 10’x10’ overhead doors and (5) 4070 openings harboring (5) Dutch-style 4070 walk doors. Installed in the structures’ roofs and walls is R-10 building insulation, which reduces energy bills considerably while helping maintain comfortable, consistent temperatures year-round. A wind speed rating of 110 mph and a snow load of 35 lbs. serve as additional features and were included in consideration of the variable climate of Sedalia and the surrounding region.

A census-designated place in central Colorado’s Douglas County, Sedalia sits about 17 miles from Franktown and 9 miles outside Castle Rock.

Brewery Building in Silverthorne, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a buyer in Silverthorne, Colorado, in July of 2015.

Now the Angry James Brewery, the attractive and low-maintenance metal building is crafted from long-lasting, hardwearing premium-grade steel components. It stands 40’x60’x16’ in size once fully erect and is covered and protected overhead by an exceedingly durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 roof pitch. In consideration of Silverthorne’s mountainous location and the typical weather patterns, a wind speed of 115 mph and a very high snow load of 80 lbs. were included during the construction process.

A part of north-central Colorado’s Summit County, the town of Silverthorne sits close to the Dillon Reservoir. It is situated about 92 miles outside the ski resort city of Aspen and about 91 miles outside the city of Glenwood Springs.

Steel Building in Arvada, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this sturdy and strong steel building in Arvada, Colorado, in mid-May of 2014. Featuring components by Nucor Building Systems, this 31’x61’x19’ metal building now serves as a metal shop.

Topped by a Galvalume roof with a .5:12 roof pitch, the steel structure has a wind speed of a whopping 105 mph, and a ground snow load of 30 lbs. Designed for Colorado’s rapid climate changes, the building has heavy-duty R-38 insulation in its roof and R-24 insulation in the walls. It also features (5) 14’x14’ framed openings, including (1) 3070 heavy-duty 20-guauge lever lock steel walk door and a chain hoist.

Arvada, Colorado, is a suburb of Denver, and is located in the north-central part of Colorado. Located in both Jefferson County and Adams County, Arvada sits about 10 miles from the City of Broomfield and 20 miles from the City of Aurora.
