Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated steel building for a buyer in Silverthorne, Colorado, in July of 2015.

Now the Angry James Brewery, the attractive and low-maintenance metal building is crafted from long-lasting, hardwearing premium-grade steel components. It stands 40’x60’x16’ in size once fully erect and is covered and protected overhead by an exceedingly durable, corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 2:12 roof pitch. In consideration of Silverthorne’s mountainous location and the typical weather patterns, a wind speed of 115 mph and a very high snow load of 80 lbs. were included during the construction process.

A part of north-central Colorado’s Summit County, the town of Silverthorne sits close to the Dillon Reservoir. It is situated about 92 miles outside the ski resort city of Aspen and about 91 miles outside the city of Glenwood Springs.

Steel Building in Arvada, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this sturdy and strong steel building in Arvada, Colorado, in mid-May of 2014. Featuring components by Nucor Building Systems, this 31’x61’x19’ metal building now serves as a metal shop.

Topped by a Galvalume roof with a .5:12 roof pitch, the steel structure has a wind speed of a whopping 105 mph, and a ground snow load of 30 lbs. Designed for Colorado’s rapid climate changes, the building has heavy-duty R-38 insulation in its roof and R-24 insulation in the walls. It also features (5) 14’x14’ framed openings, including (1) 3070 heavy-duty 20-guauge lever lock steel walk door and a chain hoist.

Arvada, Colorado, is a suburb of Denver, and is located in the north-central part of Colorado. Located in both Jefferson County and Adams County, Arvada sits about 10 miles from the City of Broomfield and 20 miles from the City of Aurora.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel church building in Aurora, Colorado in April, 2014.  This building features steel components from Nucor and is used as an church in Arapahoe County, about 30 miles from Strasburg and 10 miles from Denver.

This church building is 60’x100’x14’ and features a 3:12 pitch on the roof.   Since the Denver Metro region is well known for its variations in climate (heat, cold, severe weather), this church building is rated for wind speeds up to 100 MPH and roof snow loads of 30 PSF.

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Wiggins, Colorado in May, 2014.  Occasionally, after purchasing a metal building, the original owner forfeits the building due to various reasons, including the inability to receive proper building approval, etc.  This building was one which had been forfeited by the original owner and due to this, Metal Building Outlet was able to provide this building as a warehouse for the current owner at a significant discount. Additionally, Metal Building Outlet was able to offer assistance on freight for these Nucor components.

With instances such as these, there may be issues with getting the building up to code, since it may have been ordered for another purpose, with different specs and often with different requirements to meet local building codes. Our experts can help by working with the building department (as we did in this instance) to reduce headaches and meet all of your local building codes.

To meet the demands of this building in north eastern Morgan county (about 15 miles from Ft. Morgan and about 40 miles from Greeley), this building has wall insulation as well as wind and snow ratings appropriate to the climate.  The walls are insulated with high efficiency R-32 double layer (6” + 4”) insulation and the warehouse is rated for wind speeds up to 110 MIP and a snow load of 32 PSF.

This building has exterior walls that are fern green and a galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch. The warehouse is 60x100x16’ it has a 12’x14’ overhead door and a 3’x7’ walk door.

Metal Building in Woodland Park, Colorado

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Woodland Park, Colorado in January, 2014.  This building features steel components from Nucor and is used as a shop and storage for the owner’s tractors and other equipment about 20 minutes from Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs.

This shop/storage is 30’x40’x16’3” and features (8) 34”x6’3” windows, a 3’x7’ walk door and a 16’x14’ insulated heavy duty overhead door for easy access to the interior by the equipment.

The roof on this building is galvalume and has a 1:12 pitch. In order to accommodate the optional high efficiency R-38 double layer (6” + 6”) insulation on the roof,  a purlin depth of 10” was used and thermal blocks were added to the entire roof.  The walls are also insulated with a single layer of 6” R-19 insulation. Along with the heavy insulation package for the climate of eastern Teller County, this steel  building has ratings for wind speeds of 90 MPH and can the roof can bear a snow load of 40 PSF.
