Its roof, which is comprised of corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel sheeting, has a slight 1:12 pitch and offers reliable protection from overhead. Enhancing the durability of the steel farm building while keeping it compliant with applicable building code requirements are a 10-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating.

Situated about 20 miles south of Downtown Oklahoma City, the city of Norman is part of central Oklahoma’s Cleveland County. The city of Moore separates Norman from Oklahoma City.

Metal Building in Brazil, Indiana

In 2011, this Nucor brand steel building was purchased from Metal Building Outlet to be used for farm equipment storage in Brazil, Indiana.

Located approximately 61 miles away from Indianapolis, the storage unit was 60’x100’x16′ with a roof pitch of 1:12.  The structure had several framed openings including an 18×14 openings, a 14×14 opening, two 3×3 windows and a 3×7 walkdoor.  To combat typical climate conditions in Indiana, R-10 roof insulation and R-19 wall insulation was also installed.

Metal Building in Sioux Center, Iowa

Metal Building Outlet supplied this metal building in Sioux Center, Iowa.  Located in western Iowa about 60 miles from Sioux Falls, Sioux Center is a small town in Sioux County.

Purchased in June, 2012, this red Nucor roof only shed is used to store farm equipment protecting it from the elements.  Measuring 40’x80’x12’ and with a roof pitch of 2:12, there is ample space for farm equipment underneath the sturdy roof.

Metal Building in Buena Vista, New Mexico

Metal Building Outlet supplied this prefabricated metal building in Buena Vista, New Mexico, in mid-November of 2019.

Purchased by a ranch owner to use for hay storage, the building stands 40’x175’x19.5’ in size and is comprised of premium-quality steel components. The metal building’s height makes it well-suited for storing large amounts of hay, while its durable, water-tight construction helps protect hay from moisture, pests and other sources of potential damage.

Protecting the hay stored inside from above is a hardwearing Galvalume steel roof with a slight 1:12 pitch. The hay storage building also boasts several customizations added out of respect for the climate patterns typical in Buena Vista as well as the building code requirements in place at the ranch address, including a 115-mph wind speed rating and a 30-pound snow load.

Located in north-central New Mexico, the unincorporated community of Buena Vista is a part of Mora County. The community lies about 54 miles southeast of Taos and about 90 miles, by car, from Santa Fe.

In use as a shop by a farm equipment retailer, the building features high-end steel construction, resulting in unrivaled strength and durability. The steel agricultural building stands 40’x100’x25’ in size once raised, and it features a broad clear span and the high clearance necessary for storing and displaying oversize farm machinery and equipment.

Overhead, a rugged, corrosion-resistant Galvalume steel roof with a 2:12 pitch protects the interior of the agricultural building, while (3) framed openings make it easily accessible for users. These include (2) 14’x14’ overhead door openings and (1) 3’4”x7’2” opening. Other key features and customizations include a 10-pound snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating, which help equip the building for its geographic environment while maintaining compliance with appropriate building code requirements.

Part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area, the city of Wayne is a part of McClain County. It lies about 27 miles from Norman and about 43 miles outside Oklahoma City.
