Steel Buildings in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky

Metal Building Outlet supplied these (2) steel buildings to a customer in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, in late April of 2014.

The metal buildings are made of Nucor Building Systems components, and together now serve as a garage. The first of the buildings stands 36’x40’x16’ with a 2:12 roof pitch, while the second stands 24’x40’x20’ and has a 4:12 roof pitch. Both steel buildings feature 3070 framed walk doors to ensure easy access.

Mt. Sterling is known for its hot, humid summers and relatively mild winters, and, as such, the building features a wind speed of 90 mph and a snow load of 14 lbs. per square foot.

Mt. Sterling is located within Montgomery County, in northeastern Kentucky. Considered the principal city of the Mount Sterling Micropolitan Area, Mt. Sterling lies about 17 miles from the Community of Winchester and about 38 miles from the City of Richmond.

Metal Building in Delmar, Iowa

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Delmar, Iowa. Delmar is located near the central eastern border of Iowa in Clinton County about 30 miles from Davenport.

This Nucor metal building was purchased in March, 2013 as a garage for a business.  This 40’x70’x12’ building sports a roof with a pitch of 3:12. There are a total of eight framed openings five of which are doors and the remaining three are windows. There is a 10’x12’, two 9’x18’ and two 3’x7’ walkdoors. Finishing out the framed openings are 3 6’x3’ windows.

Steel Building in Lindsborg, Kansas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this steel building in Lindsborg, Kansas.  It is located in the heart of central Kansas in McPherson County. Lindsborg is about 20 miles from Salina and 15 miles from McPherson, KS.

This Nucor two car garage gives its owner added space and protections for his vehicles.  It has attractive light stone walls and a galvalume roof with a pitch of 1:12. The 27’x30’x12’ building easily works as a garage for two cars with room to spare.

Prefabricated Garage in Garden City, Kansas

Metal Building Outlet supplied this pre-engineered metal building for a customer located in Garden City, Kansas, in mid-June, 2016.

Crafted from top-quality steel components, the durable and low-maintenance building stands 40’x80’x16’ once fully erect, and it now serves as a shop for its owner. It is covered and protected from above by a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant metal Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch. Inside the metal shop building are (3) framed openings, which include (2) 12’x14’ openings and (1) 3070 opening.

Additionally, this building boasts a wind speed rating of 90 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs., inclusions that were made with the variable climate and weather patterns of Garden City and the surrounding region in mind. A city set within Finney County in west-central Kansas, Garden City is situated about 82 miles outside Oakley and about 52 miles from Dodge City.

Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this prefabricated steel building in White Plains, New York, in January of 2020.

Used for automotive purposes, the building offers unmatched strength and durability, resulting in reliable protection for vehicles kept inside. When raised, the steel auto shop is 40’x60’x30’, and it has high overhead clearance that leaves plenty of space for car lifts and related equipment. Constructed using components from Nucor Building Systems, the large Illinois metal building boasts a finished size of 80’x100’x16’, and is covered by a durable Galvalume roof with a 1:12 roof pitch. Now used as a combination shop and garage by the owner, the building contains a total of (5) framed openings. These include (3) 20’x14’ openings and (2) 3070 20-gauge walk doors.

Herrick experiences a variable climate with frequent precipitation throughout the year, and with this in mind, the steel building was designed with a wind speed of 90 mph and a snow load of 20 lbs. to ensure maximum durability regardless of weather patterns.

Metal Garage Building in Georgetown, Kentucky

Metal Building Outlet was the proud provider of this pre-engineered metal garage building in Georgetown, Kentucky, in early October of 2019.

Insulated and exceedingly durable, the building currently undergoes use as a garage. Once erect, the Charcoal-colored metal garage stands 30’x40’x12’ in size, and it features a broad, clear-span design that frees up as much interior space as possible for vehicles. Covering the owner’s automotive assts from above is a hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 3:12 pitch, and (2) framed openings, which include (1) 10’x10’ overhead opening and (1) 3’x7’ walk door opening enclosing (1) 3’x7’ walk door, make the garage easily accessible for owners and automobiles.

Noteworthy garage features include an insulation package, with a layer of R-19 fiberglass insulation installed within the steel garage’s roof and another layer of R-13 insulation in the walls. A snow load of 30 pounds and a wind speed rating of 115 mph are additional customizations made to keep the structure in compliance with appropriate building code requirements.

Now used as a workshop and garage, the building features premium-quality steel construction, and following a streamlined erection process, it stands 20’x105’x12’ in size. Overhead, it features a hardwearing, Galvalume Plus metal roof with a 1:12 pitch, which offers a solid layer of protection from the elements while helping guard against corrosion and moisture-related damage.

Durable, versatile and low maintenance, the building requires little in terms of upkeep, and steel buildings can typically maintain their aesthetic appeal with little more than an occasional power wash.
