Metal Building Outlet sourced this prefabricated steel building for a buyer in Fishtail, Montana, in June of 2019.

Located in the foothills of the rugged and scenic Beartooth Mountains, this pre-engineered metal building undergoes use as a shop, and it offers the strength and durability mountain life demands. It stands 40’x60’x16’ in size and has a wide clear span that maximizes floor space, and it also features high overhead clearance, making for a particularly versatile and spacious environment.

Protecting the interior of the steel shop is a long-lasting, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roof with a 2:12 pitch, and (3) framed openings serve as additional shop features. Together, the structures function as a shop, and they both boast hardwearing Galvalume metal roofs overhead, though the first building’s roof offers a 3:12 pitch, and the second, a 1.5:12 roof pitch.

To keep energy costs down and building users comfortable throughout the year, the buildings also feature an insulation package. Installed within the buildings’ roofs is high-performance, R-30 insulation, while both structure contain R-13 insulation within their walls.
